Aleks Powersports was started by Chet "Aleks" Aleksandrowicz in 1967, by selling and servicing Moto-Ski snowmobiles. During the years since, many other major franchises have been added, in the areas of motorcycles, ATV's, snowmobiles, boats, scooters, personal watercraft, and others. But during all those years between 1967 and today, one thing has always remained the same and constant. That is the personal service, and truth, honesty, and fair dealings that each and every customer receives from the "Aleks" family.
Mark Aleks today is the president and general manager, having started by assembling and servicing snowmobiles and motorcycles while in high school back in the early 70's. Today Mark still keeps in touch with the service aspect of all these high tech vehicles by attending at least one or two service seminars per year.
Mike Aleks is the lead technician for all products, but especially boats, marine engines, and snowmobiles. Mike has worked on customer service and vehicle repairs since the mid 70's, and has attended every service school and technical update for each franchise carried by Aleks Powersports. Last year, service school diplomas and certificates were hung on a section of wall dedicated for this purpose. And guess what? The wall isn't large enough, as many were not able to be displayed. The technicians at Aleks Powersports can, and will repair your vehicle, no matter how simple or complex the problem.
Brian Aleks has been involved in the sales aspect of the company since the later 70's. The fundamental of talking with each customer as if family, finding which vehicle will best match and fulfill the customers needs, and then offering it at the best possible price has never changed. Brian does not believe in high pressure tactics, and would rather not sell a vehicle to a customer than to sell the customer an improper one. Aleks Powersports has always been synonymous with fun, value, service, and honesty. Maybe that's why there are thousands of customers who have owned a variety of products that Aleks Powersports sells, and now, just in the early 2000's, customers are now coming in and saying "when I was just a little kid my dad came here and bought his motorcycle and my mini-bike from you". Another definition of "priceless" is when you walk into Aleks Powersports, maybe you had purchased a motorcycle back in the 70's or 80's, and you are remembered.
And last but not least, is Sharon Aleks. She handles all financing documents, title work, registration, and other office duties. If you have a lost title or registration, no matter where or when, Sharon will find it for you.
And although family is present in all the key areas of customer contact, there are several others. Ron, "the parts guy", has been here for almost 20 years. Ron usually knows what vehicle you have, without you having to tell him when you need a part or accessory. Ron knows what fits, what it costs, if we have it, and if not how long it takes to get one here. And sometimes he doesn't need the computer for this information. The other service technicians have a combined 20 years experience. Each is required to attend service seminars and training on a yearly basis. And many of the jobs are supervised by either Mike or Mark Aleks. Its done right, guaranteed.
There is so much more to buying and owning a powersports vehicle than just getting into your truck, driving as state away, and getting if for a hundred bucks less. Value. Convenience. Honesty. Dependability. Reliability. Friendliness, and family. Aleks Powersports. Helping your family, friends, and neighbors having motorized fun and freedom, creating memorable times since 1967. SO......C'mon, have some fun!
